Menghubungkan Dua PC Menggunakan Kabel UTP/RJ45 Untuk Transfer File (Windows 7)

Seperti yang telah dipelajari kabel UTP terdiri dari 2 jenis, yaitu tipe straight through dan tipe cross over. Karena sekarang ini yang akan dibahas adalah mengenai menghubungkan dua pc secara langsung maka kabel yang digunakan adalah tipe cross over. Bagi yang ingin tau perbedaan straight through dan cross over silahkan comment saja :D.

Laptop yang telah terkoneksi menggunakan kabel ini tentu saja bisa kita gunakan untuk saling berbagi file. Berbagi file menggunakan kabel ini sangat cocok untuk mentransfer file berkapasitas lebih dari 50 GB, karena transfer menggunakan kabel ini sangat lah cepat (bisa sampai dengan 100 MBps). Selain itu dengan menggunakan kabel ini kita bisa sharing koneksi internet, artikel ini akan saya bahas nanti :D.

Ok sekarang langsung saja kita praktek.

Langkah pertama sediakan kabel UTP tipe cross.

Setelah itu hubungkan dua laptop/PC dengan kabel tipe cross tadi.

Jika sudah selesai cek pada "control panel>view network and status>change adapter setting, cek apakah kabel sudah terpasang dengan benar atau belum, jika terpasang dengan benar maka gambar akan seperti ini (tidak ada silang merah)

Jika kabel sudah terpasang dengan benar maka kita set IP pada pc pertama dengan cara klik kanan pada Local Area Connection kemudian Pilih Properties.

Setelah itu pilih "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP)" dan klik properties.

Isikan IP dan Subnet Mask seperti gambar di bawah ini.

IP dan subnet mask sudah terisi kemudian klik OK.

Setelah itu lakukan hal yang sama pada PC kedua, perbedaannya adalah hanya pada IPnya saja, ip diganti dengan 192.168.0.2 (satu digit angka paling belakang boleh diganti dengan angka berapa saja).

Semua langkah sudah beres, sekarang yang harus dilakukan adalah matikan firewall pada kedua PC yang akan di share dengan cara klik Control Panel>View Network and Status>Windows Firewall.

Masuk pada control panel>view network and status>HomeGroup>Change Advanced Sharing Setting, pastikan semua settingan pada sharing setting ini on, terkecuali pada settingan password off.

Lakukan hal tadi pada PC kedua juga.

Satu lagi, sekarang buat New Folder pada PC pertama pada drive D:\, klik kanan pada New Folder>Properties>Sharing>Share.

Kemudian klik pada tanda panah dan pilih everyone dan klik add, ganti permission levelnya menjadi read/write.

Klik Share.

Pindah ke PC dua, tulis //192.168.0.1 pada explorer, karena alamat pc pertama 192.168.0.1

Maka new folder yang telah di share tadi akan muncul, dan copykan file yang akan di share di new folder tadi,  cek di pc satu apakan file sudah terkirim.

Hal ini juga bisa dilakukan untuk mengeshare folder yang terdapat pada harddisk
